Currently we are going through the seasons of Lois and Clark. Remember that show from back in the 90s? Both of us watched it with our families as kids; Jackie's special memory of the show is her family ditching all church meetings after the block and booking it home to see the latest episode, and Craig remembers running to change into his pajamas during commercials as though he were Superman. We reached season 3 this weekend, which is the season Lois finds out a big secret (we don't want to spoil it for potential viewers). Often Jackie enjoys showing off her super strength by smacking Craig when he laughs at the way shows were in the 90s...<div><br /></div><div>But wait! There is something to be gained from this show. Lois has been on the threshold of marriage twice now, and both times she has explicitly said she would like to reserve intimacy for marriage. How refreshing is it to see a show that promoted truth, justice, chastity, and the American way? It's been crazy trying to get ready for finals and Haiti at the same time. I'm very grateful for my amazing wife who has supported me through the whole ordeal. We've had to do a lot to raise money and get preparations going, and she has been right there the entire time. And she's letting me go for 2 weeks!
